The Museum of the Aleutians was constructed by the City of Unalaska and opened to the public in August 1999. The Museum of the Aleutians Association is a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation. Our 9,250 square foot facility has state-of-the-art exhibit galleries, collections storage area, laboratory, and a professional staff dedicated to fulfilling the museum’s mission.
