Join the Museum of the Aleutians for the opening of "Alaska Native Dolls: A Cultural Thread”. We are happy to have on view, for the first time, the extensive doll collection of our Guest Curator, Heidi Catlett. Catlett has, over 30 years, collected dolls from every region of Alaska as well as the stories of the artists who create them.
Join MOTA on Valentine's Day for an evening of Choc-O-LOT Thursday February 14th from 7-9. It is MOTA's annual chocolate-filled competition! People are invited to enter their own chocolate creations to be judged by a panel of local judges! Prizes will be awarded for Judges Choice and Popular Vote. We also will have crafts for children and families and will have performances by Lynda Lybeck-Robinson throughout the night! Admission is $10 for individuals and $15 for pairs! Admission is free for those entering the competition! Perfect for couples and families!
