The Museum of the Aleutians offers onsite and in-classroom lessons for students of all ages on a variety of subjects from archaeology to natural history. Explore below to find out what experience is best for yourself, your family, or your classroom. Our educational outreach programs pursue the Museum’s mission to educate people of all ages about the history and culture of the Aleutian Islands region.

The museum offers guided tours and lessons to students of all ages. Subjects include Archaeology, Anthropology, Ethnography, Hunting and Fishing, and Local Art. The museum is also working to provide lessons for teachers to use in their classrooms as well as artifacts from our teaching collections that can be checked out from the museum. Guided and self-guided tours
The museum offers guided tours and lessons for students of all ages. Teachers can also bring students in for self guided visits and use pieces from our teaching collections.
Prices: $5 gallery tours for students, teachers, and chaperones. Tours are limited to 20 students and 5 chaperones. Please call 907-581-5157 to schedule your visit.
The museum also offers all guided tours, lessons, and self-guiding visits for families and home schooled families of all ages as well!
